There are botanical differences between Alocasia and Colocasia, but one way to tell them apart is that Colocasia has leaves with the tips pointing down and most Alocasia have leaves pointing up
Tips - Green cultivars can take higher light. Dark coloured cultivars prefer some shade.
Cuprea tips - Bright, indirect light or dappled light. Avoid too much light.
- organically rich, well-draining soil.
- regular watering (approximately 2-3 times per week in Spring and Summer) avoid overwatering and let the soil dry slightly between watering.
-high humidity and low humidity can be damaging.
-add diluted fertilizer in the growing season.
-keep an eye out for pests and fungal infections.
